Traffic simulations

In this project I, with the help of co-workers, would like to analyze traffic in the specific context of urban India. We would like to utilize a mix of video data and analysis, AI/CV algorithms, physical simulations and some other techniques to provide concrete analysis and suggestions. One of our honours student, Meghashyam (2019), has performed initial simulations to see how driver behaviour (e.g. greed) affects travel time distribution.

In time, I would like to release a working paper on the burgeoning but troublesome urban traffic situation of India and some solutions going forward.
